Buds Gun Shop & Range is proud to partner with the University of Kentucky HealthCare Level I Trauma Center to present an important seminar: the “STOP THE BLEED” presentation.
This is a FREE event, open to the general public however, reservations are necessary as seating is limited! It will be held in our retail store, 2nd-floor classroom (stair access only).
With the right training, YOU can help save lives! This 60-minute seminar is comprised of a detailed PowerPoint presentation, including wound-packing skills demonstration & practice, followed by Combat Application Tourniquet (C-A-T) demonstration & practice for all participants.
Your instructors are doctors and nurses from the UK HealthCare Trauma Program team.
This is a hands-on learning session dedicated to understanding:
--Immediate response to bleeding
--How to recognize life-threatening bleeding
--Appropriate ways to stop the bleeding
Whatever your concern or interest in making a difference before professional rescuers can respond, this is the class for YOU and it's FREE!

Seminar begins at 6 p.m.; duration is approximately 60 minutes.
