Buds Gun Shop & Range has partnered with the Lexington-area nonprofit group SWAG (Sisters and Supporters Working Against Gun Violence) and together we are pleased to offer a FREE classroom seminar all about GUN SAFETY!

This class is appropriate for ages thirteen (13) and up*, where YOU can learn about firearms from a qualified firearms instructor and feel comfortable asking questions in a safe, relaxed, and fun atmosphere!  

This presentation takes place in our classroom only; there will be no live-fire instruction.

Topics to be discussed:

--Why and how SWAG and Buds Gun Shop & Range are working together for safer communities;

--What to do if YOU encounter an unattended firearm;

--Best practices and basic safety rules concerning firearms;

--A review of basic types of firearms and their parts;

--Ammunition, what it is and how it is used;

--A review of safe firearms-handling procedures;

--How to safely unload a firearm;

--Understanding firearms laws in Kentucky;

--How YOU can obtain further firearms education and training;

--Question and Answer session!

This FREE class takes place at Buds Gun Shop & Range's second-floor (stair-access only) classroom located at 1105 Industry Road in Lexington, KY (corner of Eastland Drive and Industry Road).
