Adaptive Shooting Program: Introduction to Firearms.

“Adaptive shooting” simply means utilizing specialized equipment, technologies, or techniques for people using wheelchairs, or with decreased hand strength, to safely participate in the shooting sports.

Whether you want to learn to shoot firearms for fun, defend yourself, go hunting, or shoot competitively—this class will assist you toward your goals!

As an introductory class, topics include: firearms safety, types of common firearms, a discussion of adaptive techniques and modifications; and live-fire shooting on our private training range.

In order to dedicate the maximum amount of time possible to each student, this class is limited to eight (8) participants please.

Use of firearms, ammunition, eye & ear protection, and targets are all included.

Course duration: 90 minutes to two hours.

Cost: $20

*PLEASE NOTE*: Fifteen to twenty minutes prior to starting time, Adaptive Shooting Program students may park their vehicles at the rear of Buds Gun Shop & Range building.

This parking area offers convenient access for wheelchairs, walkers, scooters, or other mobility devices directly into our training range.

The entry door will be specially marked.

We will fill out range waivers and make arrangements to prepare for class. Restroom facilities are also located in this section of our facility.

We look forward to seeing YOU at our next Adaptive Shooting session!
